Join fellow Colorado Springs area singers at the Meanwhile Block for an evening of singing at our first ever PopUp Choir! 

What is a PopUp Choir? 

A PopUp Choir is a one-night event where people who love to sing (amateurs, professionals, Keroke masters) get together and sing! Everyone is welcome!

Every event is unique. The dynamics change depending on the singers, song choice, and facilitator. It simply is something you must experience to truly understand.

Yes, everyone! Come as you are. Even if you don't want to sing but just want to hang out and have a really cool experience, we would love to have you there. Reserve your sport today and get to know some incredible Springs' residents. 

Before the Event

Once you register for the PopUp choir you will receive an email with your practice track and access to your sheet music. For the month of January we will be singing O Magnum Mysterium. This song holds a very special place in our artistic director's heart. It was the source of a magical moment in music that lives rent free in her heart. 

Evening of the Event

On the evening of the event signers will arrive at the Meanwhile Block. Once we have settled in we will warm up, spend some time getting to know each other, and practice in sections (based on voice part.) The evening will conclude with everyone signing together as a choir. 

Don’t forget to bring your sheet music, a water bottle, and a pencil with you. 

Where do the proceeds from the event go? 

The proceeds of event will benefit the brand-new Colorado Springs Youth Choir. The brainchild of the fabulous Katy Crumpton, singer extraordinaire, choir director, and our facilitator for the evening.
